Artist Alison Jane Rice talks about ‘greening’ poetry in picture books

About this Event:

In our rapidly changing world, where preservation issues around flora & fauna have become a priority, rhyming picture books provide us with a fun and fantastic resource to educate children and spread awareness about this topic. In this 1hour presentation Central Coast artist, Alison Jane Rice, discusses the benefits of “greening” poetry in picture books and introduces us to her diverse cast of flappers and their whimsical way of living life in the sky.
