Thank you for joining us on the 2022 Easter weekend in the Gallery of Everglades Historic Home & Garden for this special event which showcased the vibrant illustrations from Alison’s picture book BIRDS GO BOHO.

This exhibition showcased all eighteen birds depicted in the book and highlights the artist’s intention to raise awareness of the vital conservation work of Birdlife Australia. Alison’s illustrations are executed with graphic intention both striking and memorable, her vibrant imagery and verse portraying a delightful whimsy. As in her practice, Alison has developed a distinct theme and created innovative visual portraits and a narrative empathetic to the fauna in our natural environment.
