The exhibition, showcasing the eighteen birds as limited edition prints, highlights the artist’s intention to raise awareness of the vital conservation work of Birdlife Australia. Her images and verse portray a delightful whimsy. As in her practice, Alison has developed a distinct theme and created innovative visual portraits and a narrative empathetic to the fauna in our natural environment.
